BIB PICK-UP FAQ:

What do I need to bring with me to pick up my bib?
Please bring your ID or email confirmation of your registration

I can’t make it – can someone else pick up my bib for me?
YES, please give them a copy of your confirmation email OR your ID.

BIB NUMBER:

On the eve prior to race day, pin your bib securely to your chest. It is mandatory that you pick up your bib on Friday or Saturday.

BIB MAILING:

Bib mailing is no longer available.

PARKING:

Parking (Autos)

Please plan to park in San Francisco and take the shuttle bus to the Start Line in Sausalito. There is metered street parking and garages and parking lots that charge various prices to park. There will be no parking available near the Start Line. We have a map with parking garage locations at: http://race415.com/parking-and-getting-around/

Parking (Bikes)
Bike racks are located to the left of the Bathhouse Building entrance (on Beach Street), and near the Maritime Research Center & Headquarters Building (Building E, Fort Mason Center).

Did You Know?
Francisco Maritime is the only NPS site that has a cable car turnaround adjacent to the park. Riders disembark and workers push the cars around on the track to position them for the next journey back up steep Hyde Street.

RUNNER DROP OFF:

There is NO RUNNER DROP OFF allowed at the 12k Start Line. All 12k runners must take the free runner shuttles from either Aquatic Park in San Francisco, or from Princess and Bridgeway in Sausalito.

Gear Check: 

5k Gear Check (staring at 6:00am):

A gear check truck will be located at Aquatic Park on Jefferson St. Drop your gear off and pick it up in the same spot after the race.

12k Gear Check (starting at 6:00am):

Ensure you have time to check your goods, show up early, and look for the beautiful line of gear check trucks on East Road, just in front of the wave gates. Then guess what? They drive it straight to the finish festival at Aquatic Park. Then guess what? You pick it up or we get a new sweat suit.

ABSOLUTELY NO STROLLERS ARE ALLOWED ON THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE

NO REGISTRATION SERVICES at the START

NO PARKING or DROP-OFFS at the STARTING POINT AT EAST FORT BAKER

Participants must take event shuttles to start area. YOU MUST BE PRE-REGISTERED AND HAVE A BIB NUMBER TO GET ON THE SHUTTLE BUS.

There are no post-race shuttles. The 5k starts/finishes at Aquatic Park and does not require a shuttle.

BUS SHUTTLES TO 12k START FROM SAN FRANCISCO: 

Buses leave from Aquatic Park beginning at 6:00 am. You must arrive by 7:30 am to ensure a seat on the bus. Buses board on a first come, first serve basis regardless of your starting wave. You are encouraged to arrive early if you are in waves one or two.

BUS SHUTTLES TO 12k START FROM SAUSALITO:

Buses will leave from downtown Sausalito between 6:30am and 7:30 am. Bus pick-up will be located at Bridgeway and El Portal.

The 5k starts/finishes at Aquatic Park and does not require a shuttle.

COURSE TIME LIMIT:

While all levels of runners and walkers are welcome at the Across the Bay they will need to maintain a 20 min mile pace to make the cut‐off. At 10:30am Marina Blvd runners & walkers will be asked to use the sidewalk, abide by traffic laws, and continue to the finish line which will be open until 11:00am.

12k COURSE:

FINISH:

Runners will finish on Van Ness, North of Beach Street.
